Enhancing Collaboration Opportunities: SUNRISE Project Visit to UPV/EHU in Bilbao

The SUNRISE teams from the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, and Delft University of Technology recently visited the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU) in Bilbao, Spain. The University of Belgrade team included Marija Šola Spasić, Nevena Prešić, and Goran Dobrić, while Delft University of Technology was represented by Nela Kapelan.

The visit focused on exploring Horizon Europe funding opportunities, advancing research innovation, and examining the role of academia in fostering industry partnerships. Discussions covered funding mechanisms and project management, offering valuable insights to strengthen collaboration and drive impactful research initiatives.

In addition to productive meetings, the teams explored Bilbao’s engineering and cultural landmarks, emphasizing the importance of cross-sector collaboration in promoting economic growth and technological innovation.
