University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, Serbia

The School of Electrical Engineering is a top educational and scientific institution in the field of electrical engineering and computer science and is guided by the mission to provide students with a high-quality education in electrical engineering and computer science, provide companies with outstanding engineers, and make a continuous contribution to technological development. There are four study programs – two BA programs, one MS program, and one PhD program. More than 1,000 students enroll in these programs every year. Currently, ETF is involved in 109 projects with industry, 20 national scientific projects, and 11 international scientific projects. Research staff activities result in about 170 published papers in high-ranking journals annually.

Technische Universiteit Delft, Faculty of Electrical  Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, Netherlands

TU Delft is the largest technical university in the Netherlands with 26,000 students and 3,600 academic staff, is ranked among the top universities in the world, and 10th in electrical engineering in the QS ranking. Besides tight collaboration with industry, more than 6,000 journal and conference papers or books are published annually. It obtained so far 527 projects in Horizon 2020, including 126 Marie Skłodowska Curie projects.

University of Seville, Spain

The University of Seville (US), founded in 1551, is one of the leading institutions of Spain’s higher education system. Its many schools and technological institutes serve the educational needs of some 70,000 students. The US is positioned among the best-reputed universities in the world, according to the most relevant international rankings.  Committed to regional economic and social development, the US is firmly engaged in research. With more than 500 research groups, it ranks among the top 10 Spanish research universities (in terms of publications). It is the first university in Andalusia in getting funds from the European Commission framework programs. Through the Joint Research Centers, the US has set up strategic alliances with other research institutions, strengthening collaborative research in areas of common interest, in order to increase productivity, competitiveness, and international impact.

University of the Basque Country, Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao, Spain

The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) is a Spanish public university of the Basque Autonomous Community. It has campuses over the three provinces of the autonomous community: Biscay Campus, Gipuzkoa Campus, and Álava Campus in Vitoria-Gasteiz. It stands out as the main research institution in the Basque Country, carrying out 90% of the basic research carried out in that territory and benefiting from the good industrial environment in the region.
Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao belongs to Bizkaia Campus and is made up of around 4,750 students, more than 550 professionals from the teaching staff, more than 150 from the administration and services staff, in addition to more than 130 from the research staff.

The Business Technology Incubator of Technical Faculties Belgrade (BITF) is Serbia’s first and leading business technology incubator that provides comprehensive support to young, educated people in developing innovative ideas and starting their own businesses. For more than a decade, BITF has maintained close links with young innovators and students and through numerous activities and training encourages the development of new startup teams, the commercialization of innovation and R&D results, as well as the creation of new hi-tech small and medium-sized enterprises.
