The second edition of the SUNRISE Summer School is set to begin tomorrow under the inspiring theme “Accelerating Renewable Energy Integration: From Real-Time Simulation to Final Real-World Implementation.”
Today, final preparations and testing activities have been successfully completed. The labs are ready, the platforms are fully operational, and the teams are eager to welcome this year’s participants.
This summer school is the result of strong collaboration and outstanding team spirit among partners from the University of the Basque Country, Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao, Spain; the University of Seville, Spain; and the University of Belgrade – School of Electrical Engineering (ETF), Serbia. Their joint efforts have ensured that everything is in place for a dynamic, hands-on learning experience.
We look forward to a week of knowledge sharing, technical challenges, and innovative thinking — all aimed at empowering the next generation of researchers and engineers in the field of renewable energy.
