The opening activity of the SUNRISE project was the Kick-off meeting hosted by School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade (ETF), from January 24-25, 2023. Representatives from each partner institution were present: Technische Universiteit Delft from Netherlands, University of Seville and University of the Basque Country from Spain, and The Business Technology Incubator of Technical Faculties Belgrade.
The main objective of the two-day gathering was to introduce to each other, present the SUNRISE work packages, divide the roles and responsibilities, and establish the plan of action for the first year of project. The meeting was successful and efficient, and all the participants contributed to the pleasant atmosphere.
SUNRISE, which stands for Setting Up green eNergy Research In SErbia is a project funded through the EU HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-03-01 action and is devoted to the twinning of good research and management practices from well-established EU universities to the widening country university.
